Come make a British dessert from Bird's with us!

SO WHAT IS TRIFLE DESSERT?

HOW IS THE HISTORY?
The British dessert Trifle has a rich history that goes back several hundred years. The first mentions of it appeared already in the 16th century. It was originally a sweet mixture that was served after the main course as a dessert at aristocratic banquets.

WHAT IS THIS DESSERT?
Trifle is usually made up of several layers, which give the dessert its characteristic richness and tasty variety. The basic layer is usually sponge cake or sponge cake, which are soaked in alcohol - but we definitely do not use an alcohol in our kit. Then comes the cream layer. The dessert is topped with whipped cream and often decorated with nuts, chocolate or fresh fruit.

If you decide to make your own trifle, Bird's Trifle Kit is an indispensable aid. This kit will save you a lot of time and make it easier to prepare this amazing dessert.

FIRST STEP
Let's prepare the jelly first. Let's take a bag with red paint.

We measure out 425 ml of water and let it boil.

Once the water is boiling, add the contents to the boiling water and stir until all parts of the powder dissolve.

When you are sure that everything is dissolved, let it stand for 10 minutes.

In the meantime, we will prepare sponge cakes in glasses or the container of your choice. Crush the biscuits or lay them out.

After 10 minutes, pour our chilled jelly over the sponges that we prepared in glasses and put in the fridge for 40 minutes.

SECOND STEP
Measure out 35 g of sugar (cane sugar can also be used). Mix with the second dark blue bag that has Custard Powder written on it.

Measure out 425 ml of milk. Mix the loose mixture with a little milk and then turn on the stove and slowly pour in the rest of the milk - stir so that everything dissolves nicely and no lumps form.

In the meantime, the jelly should have hardened, so prepare glasses with jelly again, which we will fill with cream.

Let it harden again for 40 minutes.

THIRD STEP
While the cream hardens, we start preparing the whipped cream, which will go on top of the hardened cream.

We measure out 110 ml of milk and pour out the contents of the third bag.

Use a whisk or other electronic mixer to whip the whipped cream.

LAST STEP
Put the whipped cream on top of the stiffened cream.

And now all you have to do is decorate with chocolate sprinkles. You can decorate with fruit or nuts.

AND WE ARE DONE!
